VW Bus 66-73 Delrin Performance Shift Rod Bushing

Do you have a 66-73 VW bus? If so then you know how sloppy and imprecise the factory shifter can be. The main problem is the front shifter bushing. Factory plastic bushings are improperly sized and lead to vague gear selection. Those days are over. These new high performance Delrin shift rod bushings are CNC made to exact tolerances with no fatigue and no slop. Installs just like factory but will last a lifetime. One required per bus. Important note: There are some differences in shift rod faces throughout the years, and in some instances the face of your shift rod will need to be resurfaced smooth for the bushing to snap into place. Material removal of up to 1/16 inch is not uncommon. Be aware this modification may be needed on your bus.
