Forged VW Chromoly I-Beam Rods 5.5" VW Journal

These I-Beam Rods use the OE design but are forged from chromoly to give you a budget friendly, high strength rod. Empi 3/8" 200,000psi tensile load rod bolts add all the strength and reliability necessary fro this rod design. Radiused caps aid in stroker clearancing. Add a counterweighted crank to build a dependable bottom end for moderate performance engines. Rods are sold in matched weight sets of 4.  Uses Empi 3/8 rod bolts.
