Oil takes a lot of abuse in an air cooled engine. It has to provide both lubrication and cooling functions. Therefor any type of performance upgrades or demanding driving requires additional oil capacity. Empi's thin line sump increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts without loss of ground clearance associated with other super capacity sumps. Comes with all necessary hardware and 3 sizes of pick up tubes for all 1200-1600cc engine types. All 3 variations of oil screens fit with this sump.
