Last weekend was huge! Lots of progress made on the car so I will catch up my build thread to that point.  First the trans is finally done. Its a Pro Street Freeway Flyer with all the bells and whistles inside as well as the late model throw out bearing upgrade, powder coated case, axle tubes, aluminum side plates... Pretty much as good as it gets.

Next I rebuilt my headlights. First blasting the inside sections and then painting them back in the proper silver. I left the outsides original to preserve the logos and patina, just like the car. I rechromed the headlights rings and got new Euro lenses to finish them off as well as all new seals too.

And an update on the undercoating removal. All gone now and nothing but beautiful original Ruby Red paint that has never seen the light of day until now!

Its almost time to start assembling this car again.
